The audio-visual format has always proved to be very attractive, which facilitates its impact on all sectors of society.Besides the welcome that has among children, youth and adults is well known, what makes it the optimal format to be used as an educational tool.

We are aware of the role that this format has in the processes of socialitation and the transmission of values and models. We want to use this format to educate children on the values because of the great importance that it holds and the ability of the format to spread.

Beyond the fun and entertainment that the series propose, we have teachers and a pedagogical team working on the educational aspects, how to treat the contents transversally, and how to show the contents, so you will realize that the serie is a comprehensive proposal for education in values:

  • Gender Equality:You will easily see that both (CB team and the group of children) have equally divided roles between characters of both sexes. With this we intend to consolidate the concepts of coeducation through “daily images”. In addition to gender equality we raise the idea of general equality, based on the well-known phrase “we are equal, we are different”. We make this fact clear by showing the interaction of a heterogeneous group: animals and humans, boys and girls of different cultures, with different motivations but with a common purpose.
  • Intercultural: Both animals and children have different nationalities. We can learn from each of them, their cultures, their traditions. Although the series will show just some of these aspects, we intend to develop all that through free download episodes and the website. We are not just trying to accept the multicultural reality but we hope to be capable of transmiting intercultural values that allow children to take advantage of the wide espectrum of cultures in order to have a broader cultural back-ground and greater tolerance.
  • Education for peace: Peace doesn´t mean the absence of conflict, but the search for harmony in relations withing a framework of tolerance, equality and freedom. Although the series has a concept of adventure and action, we find of great importance that the solutions found by children and animals are peaceful. We know that there are multiple ways to solve a single conflict, so we will try to represent the idea, not only by developing transverse thought but joining it to a healthy focused creativity to seek resolution of conflicts peacefully.
  • Education for Citizenship: We believe this is one of the most important points. Through the actions of our characters, their stories and adventures, we try to educate the espectator of the importance of responsible citizenship: cooperation, responsability, active participation, critical thinking... we learn all these concepts at a very early age and it takes a lifetime to become established, that is why we see the necessity to transmit this value and enhance its learning.
  • Education for living together: Although education for coexistence is a conglomerate that includes many of the above values, we believe that self-image, self-steem, respect, active listening and dialogue are very important, so we have create a choral series in order to accommodate a large number of characters that can serves as a reference point and support to help children to strengthen all these aspects.
  • Environmental Education: This is one of the backbones of the series.It is true that environmental education is part of life and citizenship, but beyond that we intend to make of it a simple and close reality. We want children to discover through the series how everyday events can be harmful to nature, propose solutions and invite them to their own and be heard.

Besides all this new technologies are also a major part within the series so TIC will be applied as a tool for learning, problems resolution and comunication.

We want to emphasize that we are designing activities and games related to the series for our website, as well as some resources and working tools to exploit all aspects above mentioned and get the best out of them in the classroom.
